Let’s face it: Everyone needs an editor
Whether it’s to give everything a quick once-over, or it’s to make sure all the parts fit where they should, an editor is there to help you make your work shine like it ought to. A good editor helps you find even more pride in your work at the end of the project, not to mention helps you learn and grow as an author. It’s just a matter of finding someone you can work with.
And that’s the hard part, isn’t it?
After you’ve put all that time and effort into writing your book, when you’ve decided to self publish or you’re looking for that extra push to help you take your writing to the next level, somehow you have to find the perfect person to work with.
My name is Liz, and I’m an author and an editor. I love words and books of all kinds. I especially love romances and all their delightful happily ever afters. And I want to be the one to help you make your book shine the way it deserves.
Liz is one of those editors who truly works with you to bring out the best in your story without asking you to compromise on author voice or stylistic choices.
Liz is a joy to work with. She had edited several of my books, and always respected my voice. A stickler for details and grammar, I could count on her to catch my typos and poor choice of words!
Not Just a Red Pen
Sometimes, you need more than just an editor. Sometimes you need a beta reader, or someone to keep track of the thousand and one amazing little details of the book series you've slaved away on. Sometimes, you need someone who will be honest and helpful, and who only wants to see you succeed. That's where I come in.
I offer a wide range of options, including:
- Editorial treatments from proofreading and up
- Beta reading
- World Bible creation and maintenance
- Blurb writing
